Every Season Brings New Adventures!

In warm weather, walk around town and enjoy Augusta's many gardens. Spring brings the blooming Kentucky redbuds to blossom and the summer, an emerald green canopy of foliage that lines the streets of town.

Enjoy a walk and marvel at the pageant of historic architecture of meander through the shops on Main Street.

The General Store

Be sure to visit the General Store on Main Street. It is a wonderful place to go for antiques, crafts and gifts for all occasions. It also has a restaurant inside where you can sit back and enjoy a meal after shopping.

How about A romantic picnic or a bottle of wine to toast the magnificent Augusta sunsets? Stroll along the majestic river that spans the entire northern border of the town offering plenty of solitude for you to enjoy.  

In cooler weather, watch the Kentucky hills come alive with brilliant color as they announce the arrival of Autumn. 

You will love the relaxing and beautiful ride on the ferry across the Ohio River!
 
Snuggle up in a comfy chair and watch the falling snow turn the park into a winter wonderland complete with old time bandstand, snow laden trees and a passing train.

 Inquire about golfing at one of the area's four courses, horseback riding, boating, hiking, fishing, hunting, country roads cycling and jet skiing. In the winter, skiers will enjoy the convenience of Spicy Run Slopes, not far from the Inn in the Ohio Valley.
